Amarnath for Mohan Pictures, built around the theme of zevar (jewellery) — the ornaments that carry, in the popular imagination of the period, both a woman's adornment and the weight of family fortune, honour and obligation. The film paired Jayant and Indurani, with E. Bilimoria in support, and was first released in Delhi where it proved a notable commercial success.

The titles, drawn from listings on HindiGeetMala, range from longing-and-arrival numbers ('Aayenge Jab Pyare Sajan Aayenge', 'Wo Ghir Ghir Ke Aayi Hai') to domestic and devotional pieces ('Tohe Prem Se Khana Khilau Sajni', 'Man Ki Bhent Chadhaye Ja'). Per-song playback singers are not documented in the surviving listings.
