विश्वम्भरी (अर्थ: जगत् को धारण करने वाली देवी) कर्नाटक शास्त्रीय संगीत के 72 मेलकर्ता चक्र का 54वाँ मेलकर्ता राग है। यह ब्रह्म चक्र (नवम समूह, मेलकर्ता 49–54) का अंतिम राग है और प्रतिमध्यम (तीव्र म) वर्ग में आता है। वेंकटमखिन (लगभग 1620 ईस्वी) द्वारा संहिताबद्ध इस राग में कोमल ऋषभ (R₁), शुद्ध गंधार (G₂), तीव्र मध्यम (M₂), शुद्ध पंचम, षट्श्रुति धैवत (D₃) और काकली निषाद (N₃) का संयोजन है। इस राग में एक साथ कोमल रे, तीव्र म और षट्श्रुति ध की उपस्थिति इसे हिंदुस्तानी ठाट पद्धति से बिल्कुल अलग करती है। यह विशुद्ध सैद्धांतिक राग है।

Vishwambhari (विश्वम्भरी, 'she who sustains the universe' — an epithet of the goddess Devi/Shakti) is the 54th melakarta in the 72-melakarta system, the last mela of the Brahma chakra (9th group, melakartas 49–54), in the Prati Madhyama (tivra Ma) half. Codified by Venkatamakhin (c. 1620 CE), its scale uses R₁ (komal Re), G₂ (Sadharana Gandhara ≈ shuddha Ga), M₂ (tivra Ma), Shuddha Pa, D₃ (Shatsruti Dhaivata — a raised Dha at komal-Ni pitch), and N₃ (Kakali Nishada = shuddha Ni). The combination of multiple altered swaras — komal Re, tivra Ma, and Shatsruti Dha — makes it impossible to assign a Hindustani thaat. The raag's devotional name reflects its place in the Carnatic cosmological naming system. It has minimal concert repertoire and remains primarily a theoretical reference point.
