Raag Adivasu is a complete scale with all 7 notes in both ascent and descent raga in the Carnatic classical music tradition.. Adivasu (आदिवसु, 'the primordial vasu' or 'original treasure' — 'vasu' in Sanskrit refers to the eight Vasus of Vedic mythology, divine beings representing natural phenomena, also meaning 'good', 'wealth', or 'treasure') is a rare Carnatic janya raag. The name may also be interpreted as 'original residence' (Adi = first, Vasu = dwelling/home). In the Carnatic melakarta system, the 8th chakra is called the 'Vasu chakra' (melakartas 43–48), so a raag named 'Adivasu' might theoretically relate to a janya of this chakra. However, as a distinct documented raag, Adivasu is not prominently listed in the standard Carnatic encyclopedias and its swara details, parent mela, and performance tradition require specialist verification.
