Synopsis1942 की एक अल्पज्ञात सामाजिक फ़िल्म, जिसका निर्माण नेशनल स्टूडियोज़, बॉम्बे ने किया और निर्देशन मोहन सिन्हा ने। दुर्गा खोटे, हरीश और हुस्न बानू मुख्य भूमिकाओं में थे। फ़िल्म अपनी अब लगभग अनुपलब्ध कथा के बजाय अनिल बिस्वास के संगीत के कारण ही सांस्कृतिक स्मृति में बची है।

The full score of ten songs was composed by Anil Biswas to lyrics by the Urdu poet Safdar 'Aah' Sitapuri. The playback was carried by Rajkumari, Anil Biswas himself, and the singer Amar, with chorus passages — a small, intimate vocal palette typical of National Studios productions of the period.
