Harish was a Hindi film playback singer active from the late 1930s through the early 1950s. He is documented on more than twenty film songs, with credits spanning Sadhana (1939), Aurat (1940), Bahen (1941), Radhika (1941), and Nai Roshni (1941) — the last a National Studios production produced by Mehboob Khan, in which Harish appears in the cast alongside lead actress Sardar Akhtar and is credited on a duet with her.
His career continued into the early 1950s with credits on Amanat (1943), Simba (1951), Resham (1952), and Apni Izzat (1952), indicating a working singer active across more than a decade of Bombay's studio-era social and mythological films.
No birth year, death year, full name, or photograph is documented for Harish in the surviving Hindi film song archives consulted; like many singers of the period who did not attain the celebrity of contemporaries such as K. L. Saigal or Mohammed Rafi, his identity today survives chiefly through the song credits themselves.
