Synopsis1943 की एक हिंदी सामाजिक फ़िल्म, निर्देशक एस. ख़लील, संगीत वसंत कुमार नायडू और बोल उर्दू शायर आरज़ू लखनवी के। शेख़ मुख़्तार और अनीस ख़ातून के नेतृत्व में — अनीस ख़ातून फ़िल्म की प्रमुख गायिका भी रहीं — नई ज़िंदगी 1940 के दशक के आरंभिक बॉम्बे सामाजिक नाटकों की उस लहर का हिस्सा है, जो गीत-प्रधान संरचना पर टिकी थी।
