रिषभप्रिया कर्नाटक की 72-मेलकर्ता पद्धति का 62वाँ मेलकर्ता है, जो 11वें चक्र 'रुद्र' (मेलकर्ता 61–66) का द्वितीय राग है। यह प्रति मध्यम खण्ड (मेलकर्ता 37–72) के अन्तर्गत आता है। वेंकटमखी ने 1660 ई. में इसका वर्णन किया। यद्यपि इसके सभी स्वर हिन्दुस्तानी स्वर-तुल्य हैं, परन्तु इनका यह संयोजन भातखण्डे के दस ठाटों में से किसी से मेल नहीं खाता। डॉ. बालमुरलीकृष्ण ने इसमें कृति रची है।

Rishabhapriya is the 62nd melakarta in the Carnatic 72-melakarta system, the second raag of the eleventh chakra, Rudra (melakartas 61–66). It belongs to the prati madhyama half (melakartas 37–72). Venkatamakhi described this scale in the Caturdandi Prakasika (1660 CE). The Rudra chakra is notable for sharing shatshruti rishabha-equivalent intervals (though in the standardised mela encoding this chakra in fact uses chatushruti rishabha and prati madhyama, giving each mela in Rudra a distinctive cross-tetrachord asymmetry). Rishabhapriya's scale, though composed entirely of Hindustani-compatible notes, has no Hindustani thaat counterpart. Dr. M. Balamuralikrishna composed a kriti in Rishabhapriya. The raag is primarily studied in academic contexts.
