रामप्रिया कर्नाटक की 72-मेलकर्ता पद्धति का 52वाँ मेलकर्ता है, जो नवें चक्र 'ब्रह्म' (मेलकर्ता 49–54) का चतुर्थ राग है। यह प्रति मध्यम खण्ड (मेलकर्ता 37–72) के अन्तर्गत आता है। ब्रह्म चक्र के सभी राग कोमल रिषभ और प्रति मध्यम साझा करते हैं। 'रामप्रिया' — राम को प्रिय — नाम दक्षिण भारतीय संगीतशास्त्र की भक्ति-नामकरण परम्परा को दर्शाता है। हालाँकि इसके सभी स्वरों के हिन्दुस्तानी समकक्ष हैं, परन्तु यह संयोजन भातखण्डे के दस ठाटों में से किसी से मेल नहीं खाता। डॉ. बालमुरलीकृष्ण ने इसमें कृति रची है।

Ramapriya is the 52nd melakarta in the Carnatic 72-melakarta system, the fourth raag of the ninth chakra, Brahma (melakartas 49–54). It belongs to the prati madhyama half (melakartas 37–72). Venkatamakhi's Caturdandi Prakasika (1660 CE) codified this scale; the Brahma chakra pairs all share komal rishabha and prati madhyama. The name Ramapriya — meaning 'dear to Rama' — reflects the devotional naming tradition of South Indian musicology. Though its note inventory corresponds entirely to Hindustani equivalents, the specific combination — komal Re, shuddha Ga, tivra Ma, shuddha Dha, komal Ni — is not represented by any of Bhatkhande's ten thaats. Dr. M. Balamuralikrishna composed a kriti in Ramapriya. The raag has no presence in public concert repertoire.
