रागुप्रिया कर्नाटक की 72-मेलकर्ता पद्धति का 42वाँ मेलकर्ता है, जो सातवें चक्र 'ऋषि' (मेलकर्ता 37–42) का अन्तिम राग है। यह प्रति मध्यम खण्ड (मेलकर्ता 37–72) के अन्तर्गत आता है। वेंकटमखी ने 1660 ई. में इसका वर्णन किया। ऋषि चक्र के सभी रागों में शुद्ध गान्धार (G1 / अतिकोमल ग) होता है। रागुप्रिया में G1, तीव्र म (M2), और षट्श्रुति ध (D3) — तीनों हिन्दुस्तानी स्वर-संरचना से बाहर के स्वर — एक साथ उपस्थित हैं। डॉ. बालमुरलीकृष्ण ने इसमें कृति रची है।

Raghupriya is the 42nd melakarta in the Carnatic 72-melakarta system, the sixth and final raag of the seventh chakra, Rishi (melakartas 37–42). It belongs to the prati madhyama half (melakartas 37–72). Venkatamakhi's Caturdandi Prakasika (1660 CE) included this scale, and the Rishi chakra as a whole is characterised by the atikomal gandhara (shuddha gandhara / G1). As the closing melakarta of the Rishi chakra, Raghupriya contains what is arguably the most harmonically complex combination in this group: G1 (atikomal), M2 (tivra), and D3 (shatshruti Dha), none of which exist in the Hindustani system. Dr. M. Balamuralikrishna composed a kriti in Raghupriya. The raag is almost entirely theoretical in use.
