Pandit Badri Prasad was a music director in the early era of Hindi talkie cinema, active mainly through the 1930s. He worked chiefly on low-budget "stunt" and costume productions of the period, with credits including Baala Joban (1934), Romantic India (1936), Swaraj Ke Sipahi (1937), Double Cross (1938), Yangrilla (1938), Himalay Ki Beti (1938), Zambo Ka Beta (1939), and Anuradha (1941) — some sources also list him as a singer and actor on several of these same productions, a common pattern among early Hindi cinema's multi-hyphenate craftsmen.
He is also documented as the older step-brother of, and one of the Kathak dance teachers (alongside Pandit Jailal) of, Khemchand Prakash, the celebrated music director of Mahal, Tansen, and Ziddi. Beyond his filmography and this family/teaching connection, detailed biographical information — including his birth and death years — has not survived in accessible public records.
