Ramchandra in his singing avatar 'Chitalkar'. The title's confiding, sorrowful phrase — 'to whom shall I tell my tale of pain' — sets it among the introspective love-laments typical of the period's social pictures. It is an early example of Ramchandra both scoring and lending his own voice to a film.
