Director Umesh Shukla — best known for the family-comedy OMG: Oh My God (2012) — chose the title Ek Chatur Naar as a direct wink to his protagonist Mamta Mishra (Divya Khosla Kumar), a widow who uses every trick in the book to expose a corrupt contractor. The title track was recorded and released on 2 September 2025, ten days before the film hit screens on 12 September. The music video features Divya Khosla Kumar in an electric dance sequence that doubled as the film's boldest marketing asset.
