Synopsisसोहराब मोदी के मिनर्वा मूवीटोन बैनर तले बनी 1944 की एक कॉस्ट्यूम ड्रामा, जिसका निर्देशन नवोदित निर्देशक शोरी दौलतवी ने किया और संगीत कम प्रसिद्ध संगीतकार मीर साहब का था। शीला की गायन-प्रतिभा और रजकुमारी की विपुल पार्श्व-आवाज़ के इर्द-गिर्द बुनी यह फ़िल्म उस दौर की मंच-प्रेरित रोमांटिक मेलोड्रामा परंपरा से जुड़ी है, जहाँ कथानक से अधिक गीत फ़िल्म को आगे ले जाते थे।

A 1944 costume drama produced under Sohrab Modi's Minerva Movietone banner and directed by the debutant Shorey Daulatvi, with a score by the lesser-known composer Mir Saheb. Built around the singing talents of Sheela and the prolific playback voice of Rajkumari, the film belongs to the period's tradition of stage-derived romantic melodrama where the songs, more than the plot, carried the picture.
