लालूभाई भोजक

Lalubhai Bhojak was a music director in 1940s Hindi cinema, known today through a single documented film: Angoothi (1943), directed by Bibhuti Mitra and starring Ashok Kumar and Leela Mishra. He shared the film's music credit with the eminent classical vocalist and musicologist B. R. Deodhar and with Ashok Ghosh; the trio's songs for the film — all written by lyricist Firoz Jalandhari — include 'Nach Rahi Aankho Me Duniya', 'Koi Gata Rahe Koi Sunata Rahe', 'Aa Ja Bahar Ban Ke Tu' and 'Main Tumko Sunaungi'. Song-by-song attribution among the three composers has not survived, and no further biographical details about Bhojak are reliably recorded — a common fate for the many studio musicians of that era.
