शाश्वत सचदेव एक भारतीय संगीतकार, संगीत निर्माता और साउंड डिज़ाइनर हैं, जिनका जन्म 1 जनवरी 1987 को जयपुर, राजस्थान में हुआ था। उन्होंने तीन वर्ष की आयु से संगीत की शिक्षा शुरू की — पहले तबला, फिर सीकर घराने के सारंगी वादक उस्ताद रमज़ान ख़ान से हिंदुस्तानी शास्त्रीय गायन, और बाद में पाश्चात्य शास्त्रीय पियानो सीखा। संगीत को व्यवसाय बनाने से पहले उन्होंने सिम्बायोसिस लॉ स्कूल, पुणे से क़ानून की पढ़ाई की। 2011 में वे हॉलीवुड, लॉस एंजिल्स गए, जहाँ उन्होंने मार्क शैमन, लेडी गागा, बियॉन्से और मारायाह कैरी जैसे संगीतकारों के साथ काम किया। 2016 में भारत लौटकर उन्होंने फ़िल्म "फ़िल्लौरी" (2017) से बॉलीवुड में बतौर संगीतकार पदार्पण किया, इसके बाद "वीरे दी वेडिंग" (2018) में संगीत दिया। "उरी: द सर्जिकल स्ट्राइक" (2019) के बैकग्राउंड स्कोर के लिए उन्हें व्यापक पहचान मिली, जिसके लिए उन्हें 66वें राष्ट्रीय फ़िल्म पुरस्कार में सर्वश्रेष्ठ बैकग्राउंड संगीत का पुरस्कार मिला। इसके बाद उन्होंने "तेजस" (2023), "आर्टिकल 370" (2024) और "धुरंधर" (2025) में काम किया; 2025 में उन्होंने ब्रिटिश सीरीज़ "वर्दी" के लिए हैंस ज़िमर के साथ मिलकर शीर्षक धुन भी रची।

Shashwat Sachdev is an Indian music composer, producer, and sound designer, born on 1 January 1987 in Jaipur, Rajasthan. He began musical training at the age of three, starting with tabla, followed by Hindustani classical vocals under Ustad Ramzan Khan, a sarangi exponent of the Sikar gharana, and later Western classical piano. He studied law at Symbiosis Law School, Pune, before pursuing music as a career.
In 2011 he moved to Hollywood, Los Angeles, where he worked alongside musicians including Marc Shaiman, Lady Gaga, Beyonce, and Mariah Carey. He returned to India in 2016 and made his Bollywood debut as composer for Phillauri (2017), followed by Veere Di Wedding (2018).
Sachdev achieved wider recognition for the background score of Uri: The Surgical Strike (2019), for which he won the National Film Award for Best Background Music at the 66th National Film Awards. His subsequent work includes Tejas (2023), Article 370 (2024), and Dhurandhar (2025); in 2025 he also co-composed the title theme for the British series Virdee alongside Hans Zimmer.
