नहीं बोले हो

'Nahi Bole Ho' is the third of the Surendra–Sadhana Bose duets in Paigam (1943). The reproachful, teasing address of the title — a lover complaining of silence — places it among the film's lighter, conversational romantic numbers.

Gyan Dutt gives the duet a light, conversational lilt suited to its call-and-answer text, the two leads passing the reproach back and forth over an unobtrusive harmonium-and-tabla base — a treatment typical of the period's playful romantic duets.
