Songs of Paradise is a 2025 biographical musical drama directed by Danish Renzu and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar, Shafat Qazi, and Danish Renzu. It chronicles the life of Raj Begum — the first female vocalist at Radio Kashmir, later a Padma Shri awardee — known as the Melody Queen of Kashmir. In conservative mid-20th-century Kashmir, where women were forbidden from pursuing public artistic lives, Zeba (Saba Azad) rises from a wedding singer to the celebrated voice of Radio Kashmir, defying every stricture placed on women of her time. The narrative is framed by a journalist (Taaruk Raina) interviewing the elderly Noor Begum (Soni Razdan). The film premiered on Amazon Prime Video on 29 August 2025 and won Best Film and Best Actress at the Jagran Film Festival.
