Suvarna Tiwari is a Mumbai-based playback singer trained in Indian classical music, known for a distinctive husky, bass-toned voice that sits comfortably in Sufi, folk, fusion and semi-classical material. She spent her early career singing for television commercials, TV shows and promotional songs, and drew attention in the indie circuit through a collaboration with a Mumbai rock band on the single 'Ethereal Ash', which aired on VH1, MTV Indies and 9XO. Her wider Bollywood breakthrough came in 2025 with the Rajkummar Rao film Bhool Chuk Maaf, where she featured on the Tanishk Bagchi compositions 'Sawariya Tera' (with Raghav Chaitanya and Varun Jain, lyrics by Irshad Kamil) and 'Maahi Mera'. The same year she lent her voice to the patriotic 'Bharatvarsh Anthem' from Kesari Veer, extending a catalogue that moves easily between romantic film songs and rousing ensemble pieces.
