उड़ा गुलाल इश्क़ वाला

Udaa Gulaal Ishq Wala (उड़ा गुलाल इश्क़ वाला) is a festive, Holi-flavoured duet from Janhit Mein Jaari (2022), sung by Amit Gupta and Dhvani Bhanushali, written by Abhishek 'Talented' and composed by the duo Amol–Abhishek. The song was released by Ishtar Music as part of the film's soundtrack rollout ahead of its 10 June 2022 theatrical release, and is picturized on lead pair Nushrratt Bharuccha and Anud Singh Dhaka. Framed around the imagery of gulaal (colour powder) flying in the air during the month of Phagun, the track functions as the soundtrack's lighter, celebratory counterpoint to the more dramatic and issue-driven songs elsewhere in the film, giving Dhvani Bhanushali a second vocal credit on the album alongside her duet with Javed Ali on Parda Daari.

Composers Amol–Abhishek build the track around an up-tempo, folk-influenced melody typical of Bollywood Holi songs, designed for group dance picturization rather than intimate balladry. Set within Janhit Mein Jaari's small-town Madhya Pradesh backdrop, Udaa Gulaal Ishq Wala provides a lighter, festive beat within the film's otherwise socially pointed narrative about Manokamna 'Mannu' Tripathi's (Nushrratt Bharuccha) taboo-breaking job selling condoms. Picturized on Bharuccha and her on-screen love interest Anud Singh Dhaka, the Holi-themed sequence gives the couple a conventional, celebratory romantic moment amid a story that otherwise deals in social resistance and family conflict — a common structural choice in Hindi cinema, where a colour-festival song offsets a film's heavier social themes.

Udaa Gulaal Ishq Wala did not achieve the reach of the soundtrack's title track or Parda Daari, and remains a comparatively lesser-known entry in the Janhit Mein Jaari soundtrack — its official audio and video uploads across various channels sit in the tens of thousands of views. It nonetheless holds a place as one of Dhvani Bhanushali's two vocal contributions to the film and as a modest addition to composer duo Amol–Abhishek's filmography.
