'Tum Jaao Par Dil Me Rahoge' is one of the seven songs of the 1944 Hindi version of Ramshastri, the Prabhat Film Company historical drama on the Peshwa-court jurist Ram Shastri Prabhune. A song of farewell whose title promises that the departing one will remain in the heart, it carries the bittersweet emotional weight that recurs across the film's narrative. Composed by G. Damle to lyrics by Qamar Jalalabadi.
