झूमे झूमे मन मतवाला

'Jhoome Jhoome Mann Matwala' is among the thirteen songs of Chauranghee (1942), the only Hindi film of the Rebel Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam, who composed it with Hanuman Prasad Sharma. The film took its verse from five poets; HFGK records neither this song's specific lyricist nor its singer.

Set in the Nazrul–Hanuman Prasad score, this is one of the film's lighter, more rhythmically buoyant numbers — a swaying, intoxicated lilt that contrasts with the predominance of slow ghazals across the soundtrack.
