Armaan's voice is particularly controlled here, working in his lower range before ascending to the emotional climax.

Rashmi Virag, one of Hindi film music's most accomplished lyricists (known for Hawa Hawa and other hits), uses 'bade din huye' as both a factual statement and a well of emotion. The genius of the phrase is its ambiguity — it can mean 'it has been a long time since I saw you' or 'it has been a long time since I felt this way' — and Virag's verses likely explore both dimensions.

Released 22 July 2025 ahead of the film's 12 September theatrical opening, the song served as the primary marketing vehicle. Armaan Malik promoted it extensively on social media. The film itself premiered at the Da Nang Asian Film Festival (DANAFF) on 1 July 2025 before its Indian theatrical run.
