A 1944 Hindi action-stunt feature directed by Keshav Talpade and headlined by John Cawas, the era's foremost stunt star, alongside Khurshid Jr. Made at the height of the 'stunt film' genre — masked daredevils, rope-and-whip heroics, and feats of physical culture staged for the gallery — the picture carried a score by the Lahore-trained composer Afzal Lahori with lyrics by Azm Wazidpuri.

The score is credited to Afzal Lahori, a composer of the Lahore-Bombay axis of the 1940s, with all lyrics by Azm Wazidpuri. Surviving song-listings preserve six distinct titles, ranging from the romantic 'Aaya Pyar Ka Mausam' — documented as sung by Afzal Lahori himself — to the drinking-song idiom of 'Matwale Jaam Piye Jaa' and the lament 'Aye Gham Me Basar Karne Wale'. Per-song playback credits beyond Afzal Lahori are largely undocumented.

Stunt King belongs to the action-stunt tradition that John Cawas built across the late 1930s and 1940s — the genre that gave Indian cinema its first home-grown daredevil hero before the 'social' film overtook the box office. Its songs survive in archival song-listings as an example of how even the most action-driven B-films of the period still carried a full musical score, here composed by Afzal Lahori.
