मेरे हसबैंड की बीवी

Mere Husband Ki Biwi is a 2025 Indian Hindi-language romantic comedy directed by Mudassar Aziz and produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, and Deepshikha Deshmukh under Pooja Entertainment. The film stars Arjun Kapoor as Ankur Chaddha, caught between his new girlfriend Antara (Rakul Preet Singh) and his ex-wife Prabhleen (Bhumi Pednekar), who loses her memory of their failed marriage and falls for him all over again. The film navigates the comic and emotional consequences of this love triangle — Ankur unable to break the news of their failed marriage to an amnesiac Prabhleen while falling for Antara. The film was distributed by PVR Inox Pictures.

Mere Husband Ki Biwi has a five-song soundtrack released on Jjust Music, composed by Tanishk Bagchi (Ikk Vaari, Channa Tu Bemisal), Vishal Mishra (Rabba Mereya), Sohail Sen (Sawariya Ji), and Akshay-IP Singh (Gori Hai Kalaiyan). The film's director Mudassar Aziz wrote the lyrics for four of the five songs — an unusual director-lyricist dual role. The standout track 'Gori Hai Kalaiyan' is a recreation of the 1990 Lata Mangeshkar original from Aaj Ka Arjun. Background score by John Stewart Eduri.

Mere Husband Ki Biwi is significant as a major-studio amnesia romantic comedy produced by Pooja Entertainment with an ensemble of established stars and distributed by PVR Inox Pictures. Its soundtrack is notable for director Mudassar Aziz writing four of the five songs' lyrics himself — an unusual director-lyricist dual credit — and for including a recreation of Lata Mangeshkar's 1990 hit 'Gori Hai Kalaiyan' from Aaj Ka Arjun, reflecting Bollywood's sustained nostalgia-commerce hybrid approach to music in this period.

Mere Husband Ki Biwi earned ₹12.73 crore at the domestic box office — a significant commercial failure relative to its budget and cast. Reviewed poorly (27% on Rotten Tomatoes, 4.7/10 average), the film was acquired by Disney+ Hotstar for OTT streaming. Its soundtrack, particularly the 'Gori Hai Kalaiyan' recreation, received marginally warmer reception than the film itself and found placement on nostalgia streaming playlists.
