आँख का तारा

A romantic social drama from Madan Theatres directed by Jyotish Bannerjee. The title ('Star of my Eye' — term of endearment) signals a love story at its centre. Like most early-talkie productions, the film survives chiefly through censor records and period listings; its prints are not known to exist, and its music is documented only in fragments.

Music director and song details not documented.

Part of Madan Theatres' 1932 social romance output.

A lost film of the early talkie corpus: no prints are known, and its place in the record rests on censor listings, period advertisements and filmographies. Entries like this are why the registry exists — so even the lost are counted.
