The Monographपरिचय Overview

Tumhare Hi Rahenge Hum (तुम्हारे ही रहेंगे हम) is the romantic ballad from Stree 2 (2024) that gives the horror-comedy sequel's lead pair, Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, their own tender counterpoint to the film's viral item numbers — composed by Sachin-Jigar, written by Amitabh Bhattacharya, and sung by Varun Jain and Shilpa Rao, with the composer duo also credited as singers on the official release. Released on 6 August 2024, nine days ahead of the film's 15 August theatrical release, it was the soundtrack's fourth and final single, built as a quiet love song of devotion and return in a film otherwise dominated by dance-floor spectacle.
The Music

Where Sachin-Jigar's other Stree 2 tracks (Aaj Ki Raat, Aayi Nai) are built for dance-floor spectacle, Tumhare Hi Rahenge Hum is deliberately understated — a slow-tempo romantic melody carried by Varun Jain and Shilpa Rao's voices, with the composer duo again credited as singers on the official release alongside them. The arrangement favours restraint over hook-driven repetition, giving the song's central promise — of a love that endures — room to breathe rather than demanding an instant sing-along.
The Poetry

Amitabh Bhattacharya's lyric turns on a single image: two lovers returning to the exact spot where they once swore ('qasam') to meet again, and finding each other still waiting there. It's a classic reunion trope rendered in plain, direct Hindi-Urdu vocabulary rather than ornate metaphor — the kind of writing built to sit comfortably as a wedding-season romantic number rather than a literary showpiece.
The Story

Stree 2, Amar Kaushik's sequel to the 2018 horror-comedy hit, reunites Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor as the central couple facing a new headless demon, Sarkata, terrorising the town of Chanderi — produced by Maddock Films and Jio Studios for a 15 August 2024 theatrical release. Where the soundtrack's other singles built standalone viral moments around guest performers (Tamannaah Bhatia in Aaj Ki Raat, Pawan Singh's Bhojpuri energy in Aayi Nai), Tumhare Hi Rahenge Hum was released as the fourth and final single on 6 August 2024, just over a week before the film opened, and was pitched specifically as a love ballad belonging to the film's actual leads rather than a promotional guest spectacle.
The Legacy

As the closing single from a soundtrack dominated by Aaj Ki Raat's billion-view item-number phenomenon, Tumhare Hi Rahenge Hum occupies a quieter role — the official Saregama Music video has drawn over 123 million YouTube views, a strong number in its own right even set against its label-mates' extraordinary totals. It stands as the soundtrack's dedicated romantic entry, giving Stree 2's central couple a song of their own within an album otherwise built around guest-starring dance spectacles.
