हँसो हँसो ऐ दुनियावालों (1942) के 'मन की आशा जागी रे' का भाग २, बोल वहीद क़ुरैशी के और संगीत स्वतंत्र संगीतकार के रूप में अपनी शुरुआत कर रहे सी. रामचंद्र का। यह दो-भाग वाले आशा-गीत की निरंतरता है, जो भाग १ में शुरू हुए विषय को दूसरे डिस्क-पक्ष पर पूरा करती है। दो भागों में जारी होना 78-आरपीएम युग की उस प्रथा को दर्शाता है जिसमें लंबी रचना को रिकॉर्ड के दोनों पक्षों पर बाँटा जाता था। जीवित सूचियों में कोई पार्श्व गायक प्रलेखित नहीं है।

Part 2 of 'Mann Ki Asha Jagi Re' from Haso Haso Ai Duniyawallaon (1942), with lyrics by Waheed Qureshi and music by C. Ramchandra in his debut as an independent composer. It is the continuation of the two-part hope song, completing on a second disc side the theme begun in Part 1. The two-part issue reflects the 78-rpm-era practice of dividing a longer composition across both faces of a record. No playback singer is documented in the surviving listings.

सी. रामचंद्र दूसरे भाग को भाग १ की उसी हारमोनियम-तबला नींव पर आगे बढ़ाते हैं और आशा-विषय को उसके समाधान तक ले जाते हैं। दोनों पक्षों में मनोभाव की निरंतरता दिखाती है कि युवा संगीतकार गीत को दो अलग ट्रैक नहीं, बल्कि एक ही विस्तृत चाप के रूप में सोच रहे थे।

C. Ramchandra carries the second part forward on the same harmonium-and-tabla footing as Part 1, bringing the hope-theme to its resolution. The continuity of mood across the two sides shows the young composer thinking of the song as a single extended arc rather than two separate tracks.
