The opening track of the Nishaanchi album, 'Filam Dekho' was born, as composer Anurag Saikia described, out of 'pure experimentation — an uninhibited jam' with lyricist Shashwat Dwivedi and vocalist Madhubanti Bagchi. Anurag Saikia told Rolling Stone India that 'Filam Dekho' emerged from an unplanned session — he and Dwivedi were simply jamming, and Bagchi's improvisations in that session became the song. Kashyap championed the track immediately, sensing its ability to set a tonal foundation for the film's sprawling, kinetic crime narrative. It was the first song released from the album after 'Neend Bhi Teri'.

'Filam Dekho' stands as one of 2025's most distinctive Bollywood opening tracks — a song that refuses to be background wallpaper. Madhubanti Bagchi's performance here expanded her profile well beyond Bengali cinema, bringing her voice to a national Bollywood audience through Anurag Kashyap's platform.
