An adventure-action film from Eastern Film Ltd., Shikari centres on a hunter-hero navigating danger and romance. One of the era's adventure productions, the film featured future star Paidi Jairaj in an early role alongside Husn Banu and Seeta Devi. Like most early-talkie productions, the film survives chiefly through censor records and period listings; its prints are not known to exist, and its music is documented only in fragments.
