Synopsisसज्जन 1941 की एक हिंदी सामाजिक ड्रामा फ़िल्म है, जिसका निर्माण सुदर्शन चित्र ने और निर्देशन द्वारका खोसला ने किया, संगीत प्रताप मुखर्जी का और बोल पंडित फणि के। हुस्न बानू और जगदीश सेठी की अगुवाई में तथा डेविड, आग़ा और गोप की हास्य प्रतिभा से सजी यह फ़िल्म 1940 के दशक की दहलीज़ पर भारतीय सिनेमाघरों को भरने वाली सामाजिक मेलोड्रामा की भरी-पूरी फ़सल से संबंध रखती है। उस दौर की अधिकांश फ़िल्मों की तरह इसकी कथा मुख्यतः अपने बारह गीतों के एक ढाँचे के रूप में ही बची है।

Sajjan is a 1941 Hindi social drama produced by Sudharshan Chitra and directed by Dwarka Khosla, with a score by Pratap Mukherjee set to the verses of Pandit Phani. Led by Husn Banu and Jagdish Sethi and rounded out by the comic talents of David, Agha and Gope, the film belongs to the dense crop of socially themed melodramas that filled India's cinemas on the eve of the 1940s.
