A 1942 Hindi social drama directed by A. M. Khan, with a score by Damodar Sharma and lyrics by Gaskar Delahari. Like most of the modestly budgeted programme pictures of the early-1940s — produced as the Bombay film economy strained under wartime shortages of raw stock — Motorwali survives today chiefly through its gramophone records and discographical traces rather than a print, and its full plot is not documented in surviving sources.

The score was composed by Damodar Sharma to lyrics by Gaskar Delahari. Records survive for at least one number, 'Aao Aao Sundar Panchi'; the complete soundtrack and the playback singers are not reliably documented in surviving discographies, and only the verifiable song is catalogued here.

Motorwali is one of the many lesser-documented entries in the dense 1942 release calendar — a year crowded with films from the established Bombay, Lahore and Calcutta studios. Its value to the archive lies less in box-office memory than in preserving the work of a marginal music director, Damodar Sharma, and lyricist Gaskar Delahari, whose names would otherwise vanish from the record of who made Hindi film music during the war years.
