शायरा अपूर्वा

Shayra Apoorva, born Apoorva Tiwari, is an Indian lyricist and singer from Sultanpur, Uttar Pradesh, who studied in Lucknow before pursuing a career in music. She holds a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Banaras Hindu University, which she has cited as informing her approach to writing emotionally direct lyrics. She made her debut as a lyricist on the short film Pihu, starring Sanaya Irani, and went on to write for projects including Pakhi and the streaming film Call Me Bae. Her Bollywood credits include the lyrics for 'Rabb Warga' (Bad Newz, 2024), sung by Jubin Nautiyal and Abhijeet Srivastava, and 'Gulabi Saawariya' (Ek Chatur Naar, 2025), sung by Sachet Tandon and Shilpa Rao. Beyond lyric-writing, she performs as an independent artist and has released the single 'Khayaal,' which has drawn more than 25 million streams, alongside other original songs; she has over a million monthly listeners on Spotify. She describes her career as spanning web-series anthems, brand campaigns, and film songwriting over roughly six years in the industry.
