अभिनव शेखर

Abhinav Shekhar (born 7 August 1989 in Patna, Bihar) is an Indian rapper, singer, lyricist and composer working across Hindi and Punjabi music. He studied at St. Michael's High School in Patna before earning an engineering degree from Technocrats Institute of Technology in Bhopal, having started writing poetry as early as the fourth grade and taken part in extempore and elocution competitions through school and college.

After his studies, Shekhar moved to Delhi to prepare for the civil services examinations while contributing to theatre and short films, and on 5 May 2016 he joined the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) in Nagpur. He released his first song, "Yaar Berozgaar" (about the life of an engineer), in 2018, the same year he founded the event-management and music venture BLive Music along with its YouTube channel, which has since grown to over 100,000 subscribers.

Performing and writing in both Hindi and Punjabi, Shekhar has released songs including "Lakk Boom Boom," "Jogi," "Loverfehmi," "Hindustan" and "Log Kya Kahenge," and has written lyrics for soundtrack songs in films such as Mystery of the Tattoo (2023), Nikita Roy (2025) and Rahu Ketu (2025). He has also appeared on television programmes including The Kapil Sharma Show and India's Best Dancer.
