A playful solo from the 1943 film Mohabbat Ki Jeet, sung by Rajkumari — one of the most recorded female voices of pre- and early-Independence Hindi cinema, who would later sing the celebrated 'Ghar Aaya Mera Pardesi' in Awara (1951). Composed by Vasant Kumar Naidu with lyrics by Ehsan Rizvi, the song's 'aankhon mein masti' (intoxication in the eyes) conceit places it in the flirtatious, romantic vein.

Vasant Kumar Naidu sets Rajkumari's nimble upper register against a lilting, medium-tempo rhythm. In keeping with the rest of this 1943 score, the texture is melody-forward and economically arranged, letting the singer's playful phrasing carry the song.
