ओह मामा

Oh Mama (ओह मामा) is one of two lighter, folk-inflected tracks from Anubhav Sinha's Anek (2022) soundtrack, released as part of the full album drop on 7 June 2022, alongside Rabbit (Cafe Song). Composed by Anurag Saikia, with lyrics written by the film's director Anubhav Sinha himself, the song is sung by Neha Karode with Saikia lending his own vocals alongside her. Co-composed with musician Ishan Das and Karode, the track was produced with a small ensemble — guitar, drums, and violin/viola from Jitendra Javda — plus backing vocals from Gauranga Shekhar, Arabinda Neog, Dipakshi Kalita and Pratikhyaa Sarma, giving it a distinctly regional, Northeast Indian-inflected folk-pop texture that stood apart from the soundtrack's title-track anthem, Voice of Anek.
