The title track is an unusual case of an artist remaking his own song two decades on: Raghav — the Indian-Canadian singer-songwriter behind 2004's 'Teri Baaton' from his debut album Storyteller — returned to re-record his own composition for this film, with Tanishk Bagchi reworking the arrangement into a glossier, hook-driven dance-pop production and Asees Kaur added as the female vocal. A Planet Bollywood review of the soundtrack noted that Bagchi 'has spruced up the song quite nicely with his arrangements' and that 'after all these years, the composition sounds as fresh as it did twenty years back' — the mix was mastered by Eric Pillai at Future Sound of Bombay.

Lyricists Nina Mathur and Tanishk Bagchi built the Hindi lyric around a single repeated plea — 'gale lag ja, gale lag ja' ('come, embrace me, embrace me') — making the song a chorus-first, hook-driven dance number rather than a verse-heavy narrative. The words stay deliberately simple and repetitive, built for a viral 'hook step' rather than literary depth, which is exactly what let it work as both a title track and a standalone pre-release dance moment.

Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya (translation: 'the heart got so entangled in your words') is a Maddock Films and Jio Studios science-fiction romantic comedy — the directorial debut of Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah — starring Shahid Kapoor as Aryan Agnihotri, a Delhi-born robotics engineer, and Kriti Sanon as SIFRA, a hyper-realistic android he unknowingly falls for. T-Series released the title track as a promotional single on 29 January 2024, ahead of the full soundtrack EP (5 February 2024) and the film's theatrical release on 9 February 2024. The song was picturised on Kapoor and Sanon in a shimmery party sequence choreographed by Shaik Jani Basha, built around a repeatable hook step designed to travel on social media before the film opened. The film went on to gross ₹133.64 crore.

The official T-Series video has drawn over 610 million YouTube views, making the recreation far bigger in reach than Raghav's original ever was. For Raghav, remaking a song he wrote in his twenties about heartbreak — now a Bollywood dance-pop title track about a man falling for an AI — closes an unusual 20-year loop between his 2004 independent pop career and mainstream Hindi film music. He told Republic World he was initially 'scared' to revisit the song but was pleased with how the new version turned out.
