One of the eight documented songs from Nari Ghadiali's 1944 action feature Lieutenant, with lyrics by Mustafa. The title carries a sense of restless, ongoing heartache — the ache that travels with one wherever one goes — a register of intense longing common to the period's film song. The recording survives in catalogue form; its placement within Lieutenant is no longer documented.

A heartache number of this kind would have been set slow and spare — harmonium and tabla beneath the melody, with the sarangi sustaining the ache through the held notes. With no consolidated music-director credit surviving for the film, the song is preserved chiefly as a lyric-and-voice document of Lieutenant's soundtrack.
