'Raghupati Raghav Rajaram (Version 1)' is the filmi rendering, in Jadui Kismat (1944), of the celebrated Ram-and-Rahim bhajan whose mukhda is attributed to Lakshmanacharya and which Mahatma Gandhi made nationally famous through prayer meetings. In the A. M. Khan film the number was set by Behram Irani and Damodar Sharma with film lyrics credited to Ehsan Rizvi, and recorded in two distinct versions on the soundtrack. No individual playback singer is documented in the surviving listings.
