Song catalogues of the 78-rpm era routinely truncated a title to the first few words of the mukhda, and this entry is a clear case: 'Dil Ko Kisi Se' is a grammatical fragment that cannot stand as a sentence, so the recorded line certainly continued past the point where hindigeetmala and myswar stop. Both catalogues credit the vocal to Sunder, and hindigeetmala's singer index for him repeats the credit. What the full line said is not recoverable from any source consulted.

Undocumented. G. A. Chishti is the composer of record; no recording of this title has been located and no contemporary review of the Zid score has been found, so its tempo, scale and orchestration are simply not known and are not guessed at here.

Even truncated, the fragment fixes a posture. 'Dil ko kisi se' — the heart, with someone — puts the heart in the dative, as a thing done to rather than a thing acting: whatever follows, it happens to the heart, not by it. That grammatical helplessness is the standard opening move of the Urdu-Hindi love lyric, where the heart is a separate party with its own bad judgement, and the speaker merely reports its behaviour.

One of six Zid numbers credited to Sunder, an actor listed in the film's own cast alongside Ramola, Hiralal, Zahur Shah, Ajit, Ramesh Sinha, Manorama and Balkrishna. The film was made in Calcutta by Shree Bharatlaxmi Pictures and directed — and shot — by H. S. Rawail.
