A duet from the 1942 action film Bombay Calling, sung by Gulabanu and Khan Mastana to lyrics by A. Karim. It is the only number in the film for which both singers are documented, and its skyward-throne imagery places it among the aspirational, invocatory songs typical of the early-1940s Bombay catalogue. The recording survives as a marker of Pratap Mukherjee's work as music director.
