A social romance from Ranjit Film Company directed by Jayant Desai, Nadira stars the popular pairing of E. Billimoria and Madhuri in a narrative centred on the bold, independent-spirited woman its title evokes. Desai's direction maintained the light but polished production values that made Ranjit the most commercially productive studio in Bombay in 1934.
