Synopsis'काला पहाड़' शारदा मूवीटोन की एक एक्शन-साहसिक रूमानी नाट्य-फ़िल्म थी, बाबूराव आप्टे निर्देशित। एक दयालु राजकुमारी की कहानी, जिसके परिवार के राज्य पर एक दुष्ट खलनायक का ख़तरा मंडरा रहा है, और एक साहसी नायक उनकी रक्षा करता है — यह आरंभिक टॉकी के स्टंट-रोमांस हाइब्रिड की क्लासिक संरचना है। गोहर ममाजीवाला (गोहर) — उस दौर की सबसे प्रमुख अभिनेत्रियों में से एक — ने प्रोडक्शन को सितारा आकर्षण दिया।

Kala Pahad — 'The Black Mountain' — was an action-adventure romantic melodrama from Sharda Movietone, directed by Baburao Apte. The story revolves around a kind princess living with her family who seek to build a fortune, until an evil antagonist threatens her kingdom, and a brave hero comes to their rescue — the classic structure of the early talkie stunt-romance hybrid.
