The Monographमहत्व Significance

Heer Express marks a musical comeback for Jasbir Jassi — a Punjabi folk legend — bringing his earthy rural voice into a mainstream Hindi diaspora drama. Director Umesh Shukla (Oh My God!) assembled five composers whose varied styles gave the modest UK-India story a richer sonic palette than its budget implied: Tanishk Bagchi's shaadi anthem energy sits alongside Jassi's intimate folk roots.
Legacy

The film earned ₹9.42 crore theatrically before moving to JioHotstar OTT on 6 January 2026 — a respectable showing for a debut-led diaspora drama without a major star. Tanishk Bagchi's 'Dore Dore Dil Pe Tere' became the album's most-streamed track, outlasting the film's modest theatrical run on digital platforms.
