Hansika Pareek is a singer from Ajmer, Rajasthan, who has become one of the most distinctive young voices of the 2020s Hindi music scene. Trained in Hindustani classical music and holding a Sangeet Visharad, she brings a rooted, unhurried classical sensibility to indie-pop and film songs alike. Her professional journey began in 2020, when composer Vishal Mishra discovered her singing on social media while she was still a teenager. A string of independent releases followed, and her rendition of "Kaise Ab Kahein" from the web series Gutar Gu (2023) became her first widely shared hit. In February 2024 Spotify named her its RADAR India artist of the month, putting her face on the Times Square billboard in New York — a rare milestone for an emerging Indian indie voice. Her Hindi film breakthrough came with "Ajeeb-O-Gareeb" from Azaad (2025), a duet with Arijit Singh composed by Amit Trivedi, followed by "Tum Ho Toh" from the blockbuster Saiyaara (2025). With millions of monthly listeners across streaming platforms, Pareek stands at the crossover point between India's independent music wave and mainstream playback singing.
