वनराज केसरी

A silent action-adventure from Mehta Luhar Productions, Vanraj Kesari (The Forest-Lion Hero) was a costume swashbuckler centred on a bold hero named for the king of the forest and the lion — combining the valour of the vanraj (forest king) with the courage of the kesari (lion). Director Harshadrai Mehta crafted a physical action film suited to the silent medium, relying on stunt sequences and visual storytelling. As a 1932 silent, it entered an exhibition market that had almost entirely converted to talkies, restricting its commercial reach to smaller venues.

Silent film — no song soundtrack. Exhibition with live musical accompaniment was standard.

One of the few surviving credits for Mehta Luhar Productions, a smaller Gujarati-affiliated studio active in the transitional silent-to-talkie period. The lion-forest hero archetype was a popular template for Hindi-Gujarati action films of the era.
