Shiva Theme (शिव थीम) is the devotional leitmotif track from Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva (2022), composed by Pritam, sung by Javed Ali, with Hindi verses by Amitabh Bhattacharya and Sanskrit shlokas written by Prasun Gupta. Released on 28 September 2022, shortly after the film's theatrical run began, the track functions as the musical embodiment of the film's central mythological conceit — invoking Lord Shiva as both the moment and eternity, creation and cosmic dissolution — and is threaded through the film wherever protagonist Shiva's fire-based powers awaken. Prasun Gupta's Sanskrit shlokas frame Shiva through paradox and totality — 'kshan bhi hai tu, tu hi samay bhi hai' (you are the moment, and you are time itself), 'srishti bhi tu, tu hi pralay bhi hai' (you are creation, and you are dissolution itself) — a classical device for describing the divine as containing all opposites simultaneously. In Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva, Ranbir Kapoor's protagonist Shiva discovers his innate, mystical connection to fire and to Lord Shiva himself — his very name a direct link to the deity whose cosmic power both creates and destroys. While its view counts are modest compared to the soundtrack's pop hits, its repurposing for festival and pilgrimage-season content signals a durable devotional afterlife distinct from the rest of the album.
