"Sajda" is the most spiritually charged track on the Ikkis (2026) soundtrack — a duet by Vishal Mishra and Asees Kaur, composed by White Noise Collectives (Sachin–Jigar) with lyrics jointly by Amitabh Bhattacharya and Irshad Kamil. The 4:21 runtime allows for this unhurried construction — a rare luxury in contemporary Bollywood. Both singers operate at the peak of their respective strengths.

The joint lyrical credit of Amitabh Bhattacharya and Irshad Kamil for 'Sajda' is unusual and worth noting. Kamil is the master of the Urdu-Persian devotional register; Bhattacharya is known for emotionally precise contemporary Hindi. Together, they create a lyric that moves between earthly love and divine surrender — befitting both the romantic and the memorial dimensions of the song.

Sajda was launched at a special event in Mumbai on 26 December 2025 — just six days before the film's release. Sriram Raghavan, speaking at the launch, described the song as representing the dimension of Ikkis that critics might most easily miss: the film is not just about how Arun Khetarpal died, but about what he lived for. 'Sajda' embodies that devotion — to love, to duty, to something larger than oneself.
