Shashwat Sachdev's composition for Parwardigara draws on the Sufi devotional tradition — harmonium, sarangi and tabla supporting vocal lines that rise and fall with the emotional architecture of qawwali prayer. The three-voice arrangement places Ajoy Chakrabarty's classical gravitas as the foundation, Jubin Nautiyal's contemporary expressiveness as the bridge, and Garvit Soni's youthful earnestness as the aspirant's voice.

Shashwat Sachdev's own lyric for Parwardigara invokes the Persian-Arabic divine address — 'parwardigara' (the sustainer) — in the context of a film about demanding justice from a colonial empire. The prayer is not abstract: it is for the souls of those massacred at Jallianwala Bagh and for the lawyer C. Sankaran Nair who dared to challenge the British in their own courts.

Director Karan Singh Tyagi and composer Shashwat Sachdev collaborated closely on the film's spiritual layer.
