मिलियनेयर

Millionaire is the lead track of Yo Yo Honey Singh's 2024 album Glory (T-Series), released on 26 August 2024 as a braggadocio hip-hop anthem celebrating self-made wealth, tailored suits, and chauffeured luxury. Written by Leo Grewal and produced by Honey Singh himself, the song arrived as the second solo album of Honey Singh's remarkable 2024 comeback year — following Honey 3.0 that March — and became one of his biggest post-hiatus hits, peaking at #6 on the UK Official Asian Music Chart and crossing 480 million YouTube views.

Produced almost entirely by Yo Yo Honey Singh, with Leo Grewal credited on lyrics (and, per some listings, co-composing duties), 'Millionaire' rides a hip-hop/trap-leaning beat built for maximum swagger — synth stabs, programmed percussion, and a bass-forward mix designed to foreground Honey Singh's clipped, rhythmic delivery. The song leans on a four-line hook repeated across verses, a structure built less for melodic memorability than for chant-along impact — the production choice of an artist re-establishing his sound after a decade largely spent away from full-length albums.

Leo Grewal's lyric for 'Millionaire' abandons narrative entirely in favour of a rapid-fire inventory of luxury signifiers — an Italian maid, fat cigars, a sheikh-style entrance, chauffeured cars, tailored suits, and 'lakkhan de pair' (shoes worth lakhs) — each line a fresh boast rather than a developed image. The recurring hook line functions as both title and thesis: repetition, not metaphor, is the poetic device carrying the song. It is bravado written for the dancefloor and the reel, not the page.

Millionaire dropped on 26 August 2024 as the opening track of Glory, an 18-track album released by T-Series and produced by Bhushan Kumar. It was preceded by a standalone teaser released a few weeks earlier, signalling the song's role as the album's flagship single. The official video, directed by Teji Sandhu and shot by a UK crew (Ten Plus One Production, DOP Simon Stolland), features Honey Singh alongside Heera Sohhal. Glory arrived just five months after Honey 3.0 (March 2024), making 2024 a two-album comeback year for an artist who had released no full album since Desi Kalakaar in 2014 — a return staged after well-documented health and career struggles in the intervening decade.

Millionaire peaked at #6 on the UK Official Asian Music Chart, where it spent 19 weeks between September 2024 and January 2025. The official T-Series video has crossed 480 million YouTube views, and the track has logged over 246 million Spotify streams. As the opening statement of Glory, it helped anchor what became one of the most-discussed comeback albums in contemporary Punjabi-Hindi hip-hop, reaffirming Honey Singh's commercial pull a full decade after his last studio album.
