Deepak Thakur — known as a Bhojpuri singer who rose to fame through Bigg Boss — brings authentic folk-roots energy to 'Bidhana'. The three-voice arrangement with Parimal Shais and Kalmi creates a communal, choral quality that is at odds with the individualism of the film's crime world — suggesting that in the face of fate, even criminals become part of something larger than themselves.

The concept of 'bidhana' — fate as divinely inscribed — is one of the oldest in Indian folk tradition, appearing in Bhojpuri, Awadhi and Maithili song. Deepak Thakur draws on this deep well to create a crime-film song that paradoxically humanises the criminal by placing him within a universal human experience.

Released 14 November 2025. Deepak Thakur's inclusion in a Kashyap production marks the director's continued interest in voices from outside the mainstream Hindi film industry — a pattern he began with Manoj Bajpayee and the Bhojpuri cultural milieu of Gangs of Wasseypur.
